Eternal Kiss- by Louis Miller

16 in. x 20 in. Oil on Canvas. Romance eternal in a swirl of colors and shapes surround figures forever joined in a kiss- a stroke of chartreuse paint connects their lips into one. I really like the glow of the colors in this painting, it reminds me of a fireplace and the two figures take the form of flames. I hope you enjoy this painting and contact me for commissioning a version all your own.

Poolside Kiss- by Louis Miller

20 in. x 20 in. Oil on Canvas. All the romantic luxe of the vacay in one of my favorite paintings- because there is so much to decipher. I am a fan of the cubist period and the idea of offering the viewer a story described in an arrangement of only essential shapes and colors interests me. In this story, a male figure rises from the pool after his swim and kisses the face of a female figure relaxing in the lounge. I like the two halves of the faces, male and female becoming one, and the cocktail that envelops both of them. I hope you enjoy this painting.

Tomatillo Salsa

40 in. x 28 in. Oil on Canvas- Finished stage of a painting in progress posted earlier this week. Continuing to explore the concept of showcasing the ingredients that make delicious cuisine. Tomatillo, jalepeƱo, cilantro, lime, and Spanish onion are painted with the buttery strokes that I find exciting about oil paint.

Spicy Love: Romancing the Radish

One of the most beautiful vegetables to paint is the radish. The contrast of texture, the smooth red orbs against ruffled green leaves is the ultimate in captivation and eye appeal. There’s a deliciousness about the paint in this picture that is soothing to ponder upon. I hope you like it.
